Discover Tsoureki
What makes Tsoureki so special?
Tsoureki is a traditional Greek brioche — soft, airy, and distinctively aromatic. Its special texture and delicate spices give it a truly unique character.

A Greek Classic
More than a sweet yeast pastry
Tsoureki is characterized by its rich yeast dough, soft crumb, and distinctive fibrous texture. When broken open, it reveals a tender, slightly stringy interior – this particular texture is what makes a good tsoureki for us.

Structure, aroma & craftsmanship
The special lies in the detail
Soft & fibrous
The characteristic crumb is soft, airy, and pulls apart into fine strands when broken open.
Distinctive aroma
Mahlepi, mastic, and cardamom give Tsoureki its typically Greek aroma and taste.
Made with care
From kneading to shaping, the dough needs time, rest, and attention.
Its distinctive aroma
Mahleb, Mastic & Cardamom
Three special aromas define the character of our Tsoureki.

Mahlab
Mahlab is obtained from the kernels of the St. Lucie cherry and gives tsoureki its subtly spicy, slightly sweet aroma.

Mastic
Mastic is a natural resin from the Greek island of Chios. Its delicate aromatic note is one of the characteristic flavors of traditional tsoureki.

Cardamom
Cardamom complements the traditional flavors with a warm, subtly spicy note.

With time and care
Handmade
A good tsoureki takes time. The dough is carefully kneaded, allowed to rise undisturbed, and then shaped by hand. This creates the soft crumb, the typical structure, and the special mouthfeel.
